Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in care of ventilated patients - Experience in continuous IV sedation - Experience in ICP monitoring - Ability to interpret dysrhythmias - Experience in management of dysrhythmias - Experience in procedural sedation administration and monitoring - Ability to start and maintain IVs Description: Position available for ICU/Tele specialty. Three missed shifts may result in cancellation of assignment. Up to 5 days of request time off (RTO) allowed, with 1 holiday approved off. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend work is required. No on-call requirement. Travelers may be floated based on facility needs. Candidates must float within scope to meet facility needs. No block schedule accommodation available. Local candidates are accepted. Pending licenses are not accepted. Client can cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment. Facility type: Acute care hospital, Magnet status. Teaching, Level II trauma center. Total staffed beds: 412. Scrub color: No specific colors, but camouflage or character patterns are not allowed. Charting system used is Cerner. Interdisciplinary support is available. The unit specializes in stroke/neuro, cardiac, trauma, and general diagnoses. Candidates should be versed in more than one specialty to float between ICU and Tele. Ensure compliance with the facility's strict dress code and grooming standards. No facial hair, acrylic nails, or unnatural hair colors are permitted. All tattoos must be covered, and no visible body piercings other than earrings are allowed. Earrings must not extend beyond the earlobe or be hoop earrings.
