Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to ICU patients, including cardiac, trauma, and neurological cases
  • Function as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
  • May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
  • Participate in charge or preceptor duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Active Iowa RN license (or compact license eligible for Iowa practice)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
  • ACLS (AHA) required
  • BLS (AHA) required
  • PALS (AHA) required
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license) to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • TNCC certification preferred; will be required if assignment is extended
  • Experience with cardiac, trauma, and/or neurological patient populations
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
