- Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills

- Ability to titrate cardiac drips
- Experience with ventilated patients
- EPIC experience required
Description:
This position is for a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit.
First-time travelers are accepted.
The nurse must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts per week.
Every other weekend is required.
The candidate must work 4 out of 8 designated holiday days.
ACLS and BLS certifications are required, while NIHSS certification is preferred.
Travelers must wear navy scrubs.
Participants must shave for a mask to ensure a proper fit for testing.
Fit testing is mandatory, and travelers will not be allowed to use their own PAPRs or CAPRs.
Failure to comply with fit testing requirements will result in a cancellation.
The patient care setting includes adults and geriatrics, with a daily census of approximately 16.
The unit features a total of 20 beds.
Expected patient ratios are 2 patients per nurse for both day and night shifts.
Interdisciplinary support is available from various departments, including respiratory services and pharmacy.
Candidates living within a certain distance from the facility will not be considered for this position.
