The patient to nurse ratio is typically 1:2 in critical care areas and 1:4 in telemetry units. Required skills include the ability to read tele strips and operate respiratory support equipment. Shifts will be scheduled 4 weeks in advance, with the possibility of changes based on hospital needs.
