Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of ICU Acute Care experience required License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required, CPI required (Crisis Prevention Institute’s NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course) Must-Have: BSN highly desired, Cerner experience required Description: The ICU is a multidisciplinary unit that provides care for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients. This technology includes, but is not limited to, ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), gastric tubes, and intravenous infusion pumps.
