We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (RN - ICU) to join a dedicated critical-care team in Moses Lake, WA.

- Weekly Pay:$2,130 to $2,330
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, compassionate nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients
- Perform detailed head-to-toe assessments and continuously monitor patient condition
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation, neurological status, and other critical parameters
- Recognize subtle changes in patient condition and initiate timely interventions
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, antibiotics, and other prescribed treatments safely
- Monitor and manage continuous medication infusions according to provider orders and facility protocols
- Care for patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory support
- Manage central lines, arterial lines, drains, chest tubes, catheters, and other critical-care equipment
- Monitor fluid balance, intake and output, laboratory values, and hemodynamic status
- Recognize and respond to sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, cardiac complications, and other critical conditions
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with bedside procedures and emergency interventions
- Respond promptly to code blue, rapid response, and other clinical emergencies
- Provide pain, sedation, and comfort management
- Communicate significant changes in patient condition promptly to physicians and the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, procedures, and ongoing care when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, intensivists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals
- Follow infection-control procedures, medication-safety standards, HIPAA requirements, and facility policies
- Participate in quality-improvement and patient-safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Current ACLS Certification required
- PALS Certification preferred or required based on facility requirements
- Strong knowledge of critical-care nursing practices
- Experience caring for high-acuity and critically ill patients
- Experience with mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory support
- Experience managing central lines, arterial lines, drains, chest tubes, and other critical-care devices
- Knowledge of critical-care medications and continuous infusions
- Strong understanding of sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, and other critical conditions
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Excellent clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
- Strong assessment and prioritization abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Comfortable working night shifts
