Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in specialty applying for required. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license is required. Certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Must-Have: Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the ICU. The nurse will work night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required for both assessments. All required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. Travelers must undergo a drug screen and must be nicotine-free, with exceptions for certain healthcare professionals. Candidates must complete background checks within specified time frames. Travel candidates who remain under contract for a minimum of 1 year will be required to complete annual hands-on competency training. Modules may require 4 hours of billable time, with additional time needed for pre-start requirements. Travelers may extend their contracts for up to 18 months, with a specified break period after that duration. Compliance with all facility standards is mandatory, and candidates must adhere to all employment conditions.
