Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Full Time
Highlights:
- High-acuity cardiovascular and cardiothoracic patient population including fresh post-operative cardiac surgery patients
- Advanced critical care technologies: IMPELLA, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Arctic Sun temperature management, TABLO XT/CRRT
- Management of complex patients with multiple comorbidities requiring vasoactive drips and hemodynamic support
- Experience with CABG patients and immediate post-operative recovery from the OR
- Epic EMR system preferred
- Structured onboarding with dedicated preceptorship and competency validation program
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or active compact state license
- Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
- Current ACLS certification (AHA only) required
- Minimum 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred (new graduates will be considered)
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience with post-cardiothoracic surgery patients, mechanical circulatory support devices (IMPELLA, balloon pump), therapeutic hypothermia, and continuous renal replacement therapy strongly preferred
