Job Opportunity – Critical Care RN – Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic ICU – Corpus Christi, Texas

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Full Time

Highlights:
  • High-acuity cardiovascular and cardiothoracic patient population including fresh post-operative cardiac surgery patients
  • Advanced critical care technologies: IMPELLA, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Arctic Sun temperature management, TABLO XT/CRRT
  • Management of complex patients with multiple comorbidities requiring vasoactive drips and hemodynamic support
  • Experience with CABG patients and immediate post-operative recovery from the OR
  • Epic EMR system preferred
  • Structured onboarding with dedicated preceptorship and competency validation program
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or active compact state license
  • Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA only) required
  • Minimum 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred (new graduates will be considered)
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Experience with post-cardiothoracic surgery patients, mechanical circulatory support devices (IMPELLA, balloon pump), therapeutic hypothermia, and continuous renal replacement therapy strongly preferred
