**Exciting Opportunity: Travel RN - SICU**
**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic team in the SICU, providing top-notch care to critically ill patients.
- **Shift Details:**
- Type: 7 PM - 7 AM
- Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Weekend Requirements: Discuss during the interview
- Call Requirements: Discuss during the interview
- **Unit Highlights:**
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient Ratios (Estimated): 1:2
- Equipment Used: All ICU equipment, including:
- Ventilators
- NXStage
- Arctic Sun
- GE Cardiac Output monitor
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Staffing: Assignments based on acuity and skills
- **Required Qualifications:**
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Active RN Texas license (temp licenses not accepted)
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with CRRT and Hypothermia protocol
- Familiarity with Meditech is a plus
- **Procedures Involved:**
- Central line placements
- Bedside procedures such as thoracentesis and dialysis catheter placements
- Cardioversions and intubations
- All other ICU procedures
- **Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
- Nail Policy: Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails
- Hair: Neat and clean, styles without extremes; must be pulled back if longer than shoulder length
- Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible
- Piercings: Visible piercings (other than ears) are prohibited
- **Unit Guidelines:**
- Floating and attendance policies will be in accordance with company standards
