Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every 3rd Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting within a teaching hospital and Level 3 trauma center
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential float to an affiliate hospital nearby
- Document patient care accurately using Epic (Excellian) electronic health records system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients
- Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including fingerprinting and pre-start module completion
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Minnesota license in hand preferred — pending licensure may be considered
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU or relevant specialty
- Epic/Excellian charting experience required
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Must be willing and able to complete fingerprinting as required by Minnesota state law prior to start date
- Minimum of 1 supervisor reference required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment
- Experience in a teaching hospital or trauma center setting
- Flexibility with scheduling and ability to float within a hospital system
