Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,110 per week in Huntington, WV

Ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive and cardiac drip titration, pulmonary artery catheter monitoring, external ventricular drain management, ICP monitoring, blood product administration, continuous IV sedation, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, traumatic brain injury care, CVA/acute stroke management, post-neurosurgery management, pre/post cardiac catheterization care, procedural sedation, and management of multisystem organ failure. You'll gain experience with a comprehensive range of critical care skills including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive drip titration, and advanced cardiovascular and neurological care.

Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts, 1900-0700, self-scheduling available. 13-week assignment with 12 hours of orientation. 2:1 patient ratio. Minimum 3 weekend shifts per contract required.

• 20-bed critical care unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and lift teams
• Self-scheduling flexibility with structured 13-week contract
• Cerner charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Float to like units only; one period of pre-approved time off available
• Diverse case mix including neuro ICU, surgical ICU, trauma care, cardiovascular interventions, and complex medical management

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC
• Cerner charting system experience highly preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location
• Completion of lab work within 72 hours of contract signing required
