Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required; Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment
License: Valid nursing license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must-Have:
Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
Every other weekend required; 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) within a six-week period.
Flu vaccine required with no exemptions.
Description:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for an intensive care unit.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing.
You must have experience with charting systems.
Candidates are required to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips, as well as care for ventilated patients.
You will assess and manage ports, administer blood products, and interpret arterial blood gases.
Experience with telemetry and isolation precautions is necessary.
Successful candidates will demonstrate skills in phlebotomy and tracheostomy care.
You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary support team, including physical therapy and respiratory services.
Daily patient ratios are expected to be manageable.
The nursing role involves both IMC and ICU patient care.
