Description:
This position is for a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse working 12-hour night shifts.
Experience in surgical and medical neurological diagnoses is necessary.
You will work with vital signs machines, glucometers, SCDs, bladder scanners, vein finders, remote telemetry, wound vacs, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, tube feeding pumps, and oxygen delivery devices.
You are expected to float as necessary and assist in teaching and supporting students and new hires.
All time off requests must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance.
Candidates should be prepared for potential cancellation of shifts due to census changes.
A minimum of two to three weekends per month is expected.
Relevant certifications such as ACLS and BLS are required for this role.
