Exciting opportunity for an experienced ICU RN to join our passionate healthcare team! At our facility in the heart of Dinosaur Land, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch care to our patients.
**Position Details:**
- **Role:** Registered Nurse (RN)
- **Unit:** Intensive Care Unit (ICU/PCU)
- **Shift:** Nights (1800 - 0600)
- **Guaranteed Weekly Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Requirements:** 24 hours
- **Float Requirement:** Yes
**Unit Highlights:**
- **Trauma Level:** 4
- **Number of Beds:** 6
- **Patient Ratios:** 1-2:1
- **Equipment Used:** Linet beds, Zoll defibrillator
- **EHR System:** Medhost
- **Patient Population:** All ages (Lifespan)
**Essential Requirements:**
- **Years of Experience:** 2+
- **Required Certifications:**
- ACLS
- PALS
- BLS
**Desired Skills & Experience:**
- ICU experience is a must
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
**Common Patient Diagnoses:**
- DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis)
- Hypertensive Crisis
- COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) Exacerbations
- Pneumonia
**Dress Code:**
- **Scrub Color:** Solid colors
- **Unacceptable Attire:** Any scrubs that do not comply with the solid color requirement
