The position requires 36 hours of work per week, including 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks. Contract labor will float before core staff as per the floating policy. The unit performs bedside central line placements and follows massive transfusion protocols. This is a high-level care unit providing advanced skills and technology. The team focuses on reducing time spent in electronic health records to enhance patient care. A flexible schedule is available, and recent upgrades to equipment have occurred.
