TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Greenwood, South Carolina, 29646!

ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required, first-timers accepted License: Must be licensed to practice in the state of South Carolina Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Ability to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Experience with care of ventilated patients - Skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Description: The role involves working in the ICU. Registered Nurses will work 3x12-hour night shifts. There is a requirement to float to other areas if needed. Weekend coverage is required. Patient diagnoses include GI bleed, COPD exacerbation, cardiac and respiratory arrest, overdose, and acute stroke. The unit provides support from various interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Registered Nurses are expected to manage arterial line care, central line management, and continuous IV sedation. The position requires skills in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips. Nurses should be comfortable interpreting arterial blood gases and managing BiPAP/CPAP. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with options for medical or religious exemptions. Flu vaccination is also required, with exemptions accepted only for medical reasons. Candidates must float within the hospital as needed. Travel experience is required. Please ensure all certifications are up to date.
