Must-Have:
- Prior travel experience is required for all positions.
- Charge responsibility may be required, and the RN will receive the appropriate pay differential and training.
- Traveler must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Years Day).
- Expected 2-3 weekends per month per unit need.
- Teaching hospital experience preferred.
- COVID and flu vaccination or declination required.
- Travelers float first.
Description:
This position involves providing care to patients with neuro diagnoses, including both surgical and medical cases.
Vital signs equipment, glucometers, SCDs, bladder scanners, vein finders, remote tele capabilities, wound vacs, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, tube feeding pumps, and oxygen delivery devices are utilized.
All team members, including travelers, are expected to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires.
