Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,090 per week in Vernal, UT

Work at a Joint Commission Accredited, 5-star CMS rated facility designated as a Level IV Trauma Center and Stroke Receiving Facility. Manage and monitor patients presenting with common diagnoses including DKA, hypertensive crisis, COPD exacerbations, and pneumonia.

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Vernal, Utah, 84078!

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU/PCU unit serving a lifespan patient population
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with common diagnoses including DKA, hypertensive crisis, COPD exacerbations, and pneumonia
• Operate and utilize unit equipment including Linet beds and Zoll defibrillators
• Document accurately within the Medhost EHR system
• Maintain patient ratios of 1-2:1, applying strong critical thinking and attention to detail
• Float to other units as required per facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS
• Expected weekly hours: 36, with expected weekend hours of 24
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ICU/PCU crossover patient care
• Familiarity with Medhost or similar EHR platforms
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
