Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a critical care/CCU setting in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech Expanse
Float within scope of practice to other units as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
Complete all required facility modules prior to start and annually as directed
Required Qualifications
Active, unencumbered RN license (state or compact) - must be in hand prior to start date
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of ICU/CCU experience; first-time travelers considered depending on experience level
Valid driver's license required - must be included with submission
Pending state licenses are not accepted
Locals are welcome within an 80-mile radius of the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR strongly preferred
Ability to accommodate holiday availability as requested
Familiarity with critical care documentation and monitoring standards
