Experience with titratable vasoactive drips is required. Description: The position is located in a cardiac critical care unit with 16 beds. The patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on acuity levels. Equipment used in the unit includes ventilators, Arctic Sun devices, temporary pacemakers, and Swan-Ganz catheters. The electronic medical record system used is Epic. Candidates will be working with a diverse range of patients including those post-cardiac catheterization and individuals with STEMIs and NSTEMIs. Flexibility to float with low census is expected. Candidates are required to comply with the dress code of navy scrubs. All candidates must meet the required certifications prior to starting the assignment.
