We are seeking a talented ICU RN ready to provide world-class patient care in a fully-accredited, acute care facility. **Position Details:**
- **Role:** RN
- **Specialty:** Combined ICU/PCU
- **Shift:** Nights 7p-7a
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Requirements:** Up to every other weekend
- **Call Requirements:** Up to 2 times per contract
**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 9 (including a code bed)
- **Patient Ratios:** ICU 1:2; PCU 1:4
- **Equipment:** Ventilators, BiPAP, arterial lines, CVP monitoring, central lines, Sigma infusion pumps, GE cardiac monitoring, Omnicell, Accu-Chek glucometers
- **EHR:** Paragon (Clinical Care Station)
**Patient Population:**
- Adult and geriatric
**Must Have Skills/Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years recent adult ICU experience
- Proficient in ventilators, pressors, drip titration, arterial and central lines, BiPAP, DKA, and ETOH withdrawal
- Comfortable with mixed ICU/PCU patient populations
**Preferred Skills/Experience:**
- Prior travel experience
- Step-down/PCU experience
- Rural or community hospital experience
- Strong adaptability with minimal orientation
**Common Diagnoses/Treatments:**
- Sepsis/septic shock
- Ventilated patients on vasopressors
- ARDS/respiratory failure
- ETOH withdrawal
- DKA (Endotool)
- CHF exacerbation
- COPD exacerbation
- Afib with RVR
- Hypertensive Crisis
- Overdose
