Location: Santa Fe, NM Type: Travel Schedule: 3x12 Nights Time: 13 Weeks
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Location: Santa Fe, NM

Pay: $90/HR

Shifts: Nights, 7PM - 7AM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care for an exciting travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves working within a clinical environment where the nurse coordinates and implements patient care tailored to the patient population's age and needs.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Critical Care
  • Obtains and records initial assessment and establishes priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
  • Re-assesses patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention.
  • Develops and implements a measurable individualized plan of care for the patient within the time frame established by Nursing Standards of Care.
  • Makes comprehensive nursing decisions based on the interpretation of facts and evaluations of patient outcome; modifies the plan of care based upon the evaluations.
  • Participates in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning.
  • Implements and documents timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
  • Evaluates the plan of care and performs various Point of Care testing procedures.
  • Utilizes effective communication strategies, delegates unit work assignments appropriately, and coordinates team assignments.
  • Promotes a positive work environment and participates in the unit's growth and development.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Critical Care
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
  • BLS, ACLS, and TNCC Certification required.
  • Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of the patient.
