Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit.
This role requires flexibility as the nurse will float to other units and hospitals.
The position offers options for either 36 or 48 hours per week.
Holidays are required, and every other weekend will be part of the schedule.
The purpose of the unit is to care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions requiring critical care.
The primary focus is on post-operative recovery and providing complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
Nurses must demonstrate high levels of professional competency.
We also have a stepdown unit that emphasizes the care and recovery of patients after surgical procedures.
The team is committed to a patient-centered approach, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience in a safe environment.
We are supported by a cardiovascular educator to provide specialized care.
