Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,040 per week in Centerville, OH

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting, managing high-acuity patients with complex medical needs
• Read, interpret, and respond to cardiac monitor strips and EKG/dysrhythmia findings
• Manage and care for patients requiring tracheostomy (Trach) support, including high-risk respiratory patients
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records (required)
• Float within the facility or to nearby campus locations based on census and skill set, including high-risk respiratory and COVID units, as directed
• Expected to work a minimum of every other weekend and every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (any active state license or compact license accepted; candidates with past license disciplinary action will not be considered)
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (firm requirement)
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Must pass an online EKG/dysrhythmia competency assessment within 72 hours of contract signing
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Comfort with floating to various units and campus locations based on census and clinical need
• Experience working with tracheostomy patients and high-risk respiratory populations
