Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIHSS, EKG course completion Must-Have: - ACLS - BLS - TNCC or TCAR - NIHSS - EKG course completion Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit care. The position requires floating to Medical Surgical/Telemetry units if census levels are low. Experience with patient ratios of 2-3 is preferred. Candidates must have experience with Cerner or a similar charting system. Previous charge nurse experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates should have skills in arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and administration of emergency medications. Additional skills in phlebotomy, central line management, and cardiac monitoring are also beneficial. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Nurses will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support teams. The daily census is approximately 15 patients with a total of 20 beds available. Candidates should be prepared for weekend coverage as required. Flu vaccination is mandatory, but medical and religious exemptions are accepted. This position offers an opportunity to enhance critical nursing skills in a fast-paced environment.
