Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the ICU setting
  • Provide direct patient care within the full scope of nursing practice
  • Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic study results, and abnormal findings
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment
  • Direct and guide patient and family teaching, as well as the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining ICU standards of care
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
Required Qualifications
  • Current and valid California RN License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital critical care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification
  • COVID vaccination and booster(s)
  • Experience with EPIC EMR
