Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – South Carolina

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36-hour orientation period; patient ratios vary from 1:2 to 1:4 based on acuity level; average daily census of 11 patients

Highlights:

  • 16-bed mixed-acuity ICU environment servicing Critical Care, Stepdown, and Cardiac Telemetry patients
  • Work alongside skilled nurses, patient support technicians, and monitor technicians in a collaborative team setting
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
  • Dynamic environment requiring flexibility and the ability to manage multiple acuity levels
  • 1 year minimum EPIC EMR experience required
  • Pre-assignment modules are billable for up to 16 hours

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • CCRN certification preferred
  • Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
  • Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
  • Competency in care of ventilated patients
  • 1 year minimum experience with EPIC EMR system
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
  • Willingness to float to other units based on census needs and demonstrated competencies
