Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Colorado

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Aurora, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity

Highlights:
  • 38-bed Level II Trauma Center ICU serving a diverse patient population including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgery patients
  • Advanced critical care experience with post-operative open-heart patients, VV and VA ECMO, balloon pump, Impella, and CRRT
  • State-of-the-art equipment including Stryker beds, Avea ventilators, GE monitors, Baxter IV pumps, and Maquet IABP systems
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Bedside procedures including bronchoscopies, GI scopes, chest tube insertions, arterial and central line insertions, airway care, and frequent drip titrations
  • Collaborative team environment with 125 unit staff members and dedicated charge nurse support on every shift
Requirements:
  • Active Colorado RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Minimum 1 year of current ICU hospital experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
  • Prior Meditech experience preferred
  • CVICU/CTICU experience with immediate post-operative open-heart surgery patients highly preferred
