**Exciting Opportunity for an ICU RN!**
**Job Description:**
- **Unit Overview:**
- **Location:** ICU
- **Number of Beds:** 24
- **Number of Staff:** 46
- **Patient Ratios:**
- 1:2 (1:3 for PCU boarders)
- 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity (IABP, CRRT, open hearts)
- **Unit Staffing Description:**
- 1 Clinical Care Technician/Unit Secretary during day shift if more than 10 patients
- **Documentation System:** EPIC
- **Scheduling Requirements:**
- Straight nights or 50/50 schedule
- **Floating Policy:**
- PCU or as a sitter anywhere in the hospital inpatient
- **Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (1 year considered for strong candidates)
- **Skills Required:**
- Rapid Sequence Intubations
- Central Line Placements
- Ventilators, Vasopressors, Restraint Use, Arterial Lines, and other ICU skills
- **Procedures Performed on Unit:**
- Central Line Placement
- Bronchoscopy
- Intubation
- Arterial Line Placement
- Chest Tube Placement
- **Personality Fit:**
- Outgoing and a team player
- **Required Certifications:**
- ACLS
- **Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color/Attire: Caribbean Blue
- **Weekend Requirement:**
- 3 weekend shifts within a 4-week period
