Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, patient ratio 1:2-3, average daily census of 12 patients in a 15-bed unit

Highlights:
  • Medical Surgical ICU caring for adults to geriatric patients with complex conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac emergencies, and post-surgical complications
  • Advanced critical care procedures including CRRT, Targeted Temperature Management, chest tubes, central line management, and continuous IV infusions
  • Epic EMR required; experience with Pyxis and SBAR communication preferred
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and therapy services
  • Maximum 7 days requested time off available; blackout period during Spring Break (April 4-12)
  • First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of ICU experience
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience
  • Experience with 2-3 patient ratios in critical care settings
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • Proficiency in arterial line management, ventilator care, blood product administration, IV sedation, vasoactive drip titration, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
