Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Georgia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, patient ratio 1:2-3, average daily census of 12 patients in a 15-bed unit
Highlights:
- Medical Surgical ICU caring for adults to geriatric patients with complex conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac emergencies, and post-surgical complications
- Advanced critical care procedures including CRRT, Targeted Temperature Management, chest tubes, central line management, and continuous IV infusions
- Epic EMR required; experience with Pyxis and SBAR communication preferred
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and therapy services
- Maximum 7 days requested time off available; blackout period during Spring Break (April 4-12)
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of ICU experience
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience
- Experience with 2-3 patient ratios in critical care settings
- Epic charting system experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency in arterial line management, ventilator care, blood product administration, IV sedation, vasoactive drip titration, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
