Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed ICU with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3, managing primarily cardiac and neurology diagnoses
• Titrate drips and manage common titratable and set-rate infusions as required by patient acuity
• Interpret cardiac rhythms independently using Nihon-Kohden monitoring systems
• Collaborate with hospitalist, resident, or mid-level providers; respiratory therapy available as needed for ventilator management
• Participate in charge nurse coverage as needed; charge nurse maintains patient assignment
• Complete unit-specific orientation with duration based on individual experience level

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Prior ICU experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing cardiac and neurology patient populations in an intensive care setting
• Familiarity with titratable drip management in a critical care environment
• Experience with Nihon-Kohden cardiac monitoring systems
