Description:
These positions will be hospital float pool staff.
Staff will be expected to float throughout the hospital.
Floating includes areas such as the Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU.
Ratios of up to 1:6 in Med-Surg will be expected.
Every other weekend is required.
There is no call responsibility for this position.
Candidates must be flexible with scheduling; no block schedule requests will be accepted.
Full compliance is required to start on time.
If not compliant in time, the delay may be two weeks due to orientation scheduling.
If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
If two holidays fall in the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both.
If three holidays fall, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Compliance documents must be completed promptly.
Core items must be submitted within 48 hours of contract signing.
Modules are non-billable and factored into the overall orientation process.
