This travel assignment is tailored for a nurse with expertise in cardiac ICU care, specifically in a specialized unit treating patients undergoing open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit- Provide expert care for patients requiring open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries
- Operate and manage advanced medical equipment including intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, CRRT, and epicardial pacemakers
- Maintain a high level of patient care by adhering to clinical guidelines and standards
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to Northside Holiday Expectations, working 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday
Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit- Minimum of 2 years recent experience within the ICU specialty
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification
- Preferred CCRN and NIHSS certification
