Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed mixed ICU/Step-Down unit
Manage ICU patients at a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Care for Step-Down patients at a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Float to a sister unit to manage Step-Down or progressive level patients at a 4:1 ratio as needed
Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as required
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or compact eligibility
Experience in an ICU or critical care setting
Ability to float to Step-Down or progressive care units
Availability for weekend and holiday rotation
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a mixed ICU/Step-Down environment
Familiarity with progressive care or intermediate-level patient populations
Strong adaptability and ability to manage varying patient acuity levels
