  • 16-bed Neuro ICU with patient ratios typically 2:1, adjusting to 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and staffing needs
  • Advanced critical care environment with ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 monitoring systems
  • Exposure to high-acuity procedures including central line insertions, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD placements
  • Meditech documentation system
  • Unit support includes unit secretary during day shift and occasional nurse extern assistance
  • Schedule created in 4-week increments with self-scheduling flexibility
Requirements:
  • Active RN license
  • ACLS and BLS certifications (current and valid)
  • ICU nursing experience required
  • Ability to manage complex neuro-critical care patients
  • Commitment to providing attentive and compassionate patient and family-centered care
  • Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required
