# Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse (NVICU) – Tennessee**Start Date:** October 5, 2026 **Location:** Nashville, Tennessee **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 12-hour shifts; minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; self-scheduling with manager oversight; rotating shift availabilityHighlights:
- 16-bed Neuro ICU with patient ratios typically 2:1, adjusting to 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and staffing needs
- Advanced critical care environment with ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 monitoring systems
- Exposure to high-acuity procedures including central line insertions, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD placements
- Meditech documentation system
- Unit support includes unit secretary during day shift and occasional nurse extern assistance
- Schedule created in 4-week increments with self-scheduling flexibility
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications (current and valid)
- ICU nursing experience required
- Ability to manage complex neuro-critical care patients
- Commitment to providing attentive and compassionate patient and family-centered care
- Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required
