NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) is also necessary. While not required, CCRN certification and experience with Cerner are preferred. Candidates should be prepared to work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. In addition, candidates must work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
