Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) ICU – Texas
Start Date: November 23, 2026
Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios; every other weekend required; potential on-call for assigned shifts only (no additional call expectations)
Highlights:
- 24-bed Intensive Care Unit with advanced critical care capabilities
- Exposure to high-acuity patients requiring ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella devices, and intra-aortic balloon pumps
- Participate in critical procedures including intubation, central line placement, bronchoscopy, EVD/ICP monitoring, and pacemaker management
- Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurses, support staff, and a 50-person nursing team
- Floating limited to MICU/Doctors ICU area only
- Royal blue scrubs provided as standard unit attire
Requirements:
- Current Texas RN license or multi-state compact license
- ICU experience required – candidates without ICU background will not be considered
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience strongly preferred
- Cardiovascular/CV surgery experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills essential
