Job Opportunity – Neurovascular ICU RN – Tennessee
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling flexibility. Schedules are created in 4-week increments with a minimum requirement of 4 weekend shifts per schedule period. Manager balances assignments to ensure equitable coverage.
Highlights:
- 16-bed Neurovascular ICU specializing in complex neurological and critical care patients
- Patient ratios typically 2:1, with 1:1 or 3:1 adjustments based on acuity and staffing levels
- Advanced equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 hemodynamic monitoring
- Meditech documentation system for streamlined charting and patient management
- Unit secretary support during day shifts; occasional nurse extern/tech assistance available
- Exposure to critical procedures including central line insertions, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD placements
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state licensure
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ICU nursing experience mandatory
- Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required as standard uniform
