# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Western North Carolina

Schedule: Day and night shift positions available; team-based care model with weekend rotation and holiday coverage per staffing matrix; 3 Mondays and Fridays per 6-week scheduling period
Highlights:
- 30-bed acute care unit providing medical-surgical to ICU level of care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Patient ratios: Step-down/ICU 2-4:1; Med-Surg 5-6:1 with 2-3 PCT support
- Team-based care model with daily interdisciplinary collaboration including physicians, nursing, case management, pharmacy, and rehabilitation services
- EMR system: Cerner; unit equipped with IV pumps, SCDs, wound vac, Baxter feeding pumps, and Pyxis medication system
- Procedures include IV starts, central venous lines, arterial lines, Foley catheters, EKG monitoring, and wound care

Requirements:
- Current RN license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required (must be completed prior to end of orientation)
- 1 year of medical-surgical experience preferred
- ICU or step-down experience highly preferred
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
