Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Smyrna, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required; floating in rotation with permanent staff and other travelers

• 16-bed Intensive Care Unit with 2:1 patient ratios for optimal patient care
• Advanced critical care environment with ventilator/sedation management and medication titration
• Modern equipment including GE Monitors, Drager ventilators, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Nova glucometers
• Trauma III certified facility with comprehensive critical care procedures including trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion
• Meditech documentation system with dedicated unit tech support
• Patient-centered care model emphasizing AIDET communication and patient education

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Tennessee or eligible for licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• ICU experience with strong ventilator management and critical drip titration skills
• Demonstrated positive attitude, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
• Charcoal gray scrubs required (per facility dress code)
