Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Western North Carolina

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Western North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weekend rotation required; three Monday and Friday shifts per 6-week schedule; holiday rotation per staffing matrix. Team-based care model with daily interdisciplinary collaboration.

Highlights:

• 30-bed acute care unit caring for patients across the continuum from med/surg to ICU acuity
• Patient ratios: Stepdown/ICU 2-4:1; Med-Surg 5-6:1 with PCT support as appropriate
• Team-based care approach with daily rounds including physicians, nurses, case management, pharmacy, and rehabilitation services
• EMR: Cerner; Pyxis medication management system
• Equipment includes IV pumps, wound vacs, telemetry monitoring, and advanced patient care technology
• Sign-on and relocation bonus available for qualified candidates

Requirements:

• Current RN license required
• BLS certification required; ACLS must be completed prior to end of orientation
• ICU or Stepdown experience strongly preferred
• Minimum one year med/surg experience preferred
• Proficiency in IV starts, central venous lines, arterial lines, Foley catheter insertion, EKG monitoring, and wound care
