- 16-bed Neuroscience ICU with diverse, high-acuity patient population
- Patient ratios of 2:1, adjusting to 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and clinical needs
- Advanced critical care technology including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 monitoring systems
- Meditech electronic medical record system
- Exposure to specialized neuro procedures: central line insertions, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions
- Unit secretary support during day shift with occasional nurse extern assistance
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ICU nursing experience required
- Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) will be required
