Start Date: October 2026

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend; block scheduling not guaranteed; maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
Highlights:
- 24-bed Medical ICU with average daily census of 19 patients
- Patient ratio of 1:2, with possibility of 1:3 assignment
- Adult to geriatric patient population with diverse case mix including ARDS, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-op complications, cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, and ESRD on CRRT
- Epic EMR with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
- Specialized equipment experience including cardiac monitoring, IABP, FloTrac, artic sun, and train of four
Requirements:
- Current Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of application
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
- TNCC certification preferred
- Demonstrated competency in ventilated patient care, central line management, CVA/acute stroke management, CRRT, high flow nasal cannula, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and suctioning techniques
- Post-cardiac surgery and post-neurosurgery management experience preferred
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; non-compliance may result in delayed orientation
- Flexibility to float within facility and scope of practice as needed
