This position requires working weekdays and every other weekend. The unit has an average patient census of 0.2 patients per day. Candidates must possess certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, and NIH. Preferred certifications include CCRN. Required skills include conscious sedation, telemetry, and ventilator management. Responsibilities encompass managing ventilated patients and administering emergency medications. Experience with arterial line management, central line care, and phlebotomy is essential. Candidates should be prepared for procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Knowledge in interpreting arterial blood gases is required. Provide care for patients with dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Team collaboration is vital, and interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services and social services.
