Job Opportunity – Critical Care Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend; Holiday coverage required per facility policy

Highlights:
  • Fast-paced ICU environment caring for adult to geriatric patients with complex diagnoses including ARDS, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-op complications, cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, and more
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2-3 in a 24-bed unit with an average daily census of 19
  • Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
  • Experience with advanced equipment including cardiac monitoring, FloTrac, IABP, artic sun, BIS, and train of four
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off available; Request time off must be finalized at submission
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience; First-time travelers accepted
  • Current RN license (Georgia or Compact state license accepted)
  • Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Demonstrated competency in ventilator management, central line care, CVA/stroke management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, high flow nasal cannula, and suctioning
  • Experience with CVVHD/CRRT, post-cardiac surgery care, and post-neurosurgery management preferred
  • Ability to float within facility per scope of practice as needed
  • Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
