Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting
Manage patients requiring conscious sedation and mechanical ventilation
Monitor and interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data
Float to additional units as needed based on staffing requirements
Document patient care accurately using CPSI EMR
Required Qualifications
Active WV or Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
BLS (BCLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
CCRN certification preferred
Prior experience with CPSI EMR
Experience in a float or multi-unit ICU environment
