**Unit Information:**
- **Beds:** 30
- **Staff:** Over 40 skilled professionals
- **Patient Ratios:**
- Stepdown/ICU: 2-4:1
- Med-Surg: 5-6:1
- **Technology:** Cerner EMR for seamless documentation
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- **Must Have:**
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (completed prior to end of orientation)
- Critical thinking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- **Preferred:**
- ICU/Stepdown experience or at least 1 year of Med-Surg experience
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality patient care through:
- IV starts, central venous lines, and arterial lines
- EKG monitoring and wound care
- Administer medications and treatment as prescribed
**Other Expectations:**
- **Dress Code:**
- Nurses: Navy blue scrubs
- Nursing Assistants: Galaxy/Royal blue scrubs
- **Schedule:**
- Weekend rotation and holidays as per staffing matrix
- Night shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
