The role requires a dynamic and dedicated nurse with critical care experience. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a challenging environment. Patient ratios in the unit are typically 2:1. The unit has 36 beds in the CCU and 30 in the Burn Trauma ICU. Central lines, arterial lines, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions are common procedures performed. A supervisor will be present on every shift. You may be required to float to other areas as needed. Documentation is completed using a specific system. Every other weekend is required in the schedule. Candidates should have experience with the following: Meditech (preferred), TNCC, CCRN, TCRN. Dress code requirements include: Royal blue scrubs for RNs. Nail policy: Clean and healthy, no artificial nails or gel. Hair should be neat and clean, pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Tattoos should be covered whenever possible.
