Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the ICU.
The unit consists of 24 beds.
Patient ratios are 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3.
Staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability at a ratio of 1:2 or 1:3.
Equipment used in the unit includes SLEDD and EVD.
Documentation system utilized is Meditech.
Self-scheduling is preferred for shift assignments.
Staff will float in rotation as needed.
Required procedures on the unit include EVD placement, central line insertion, and arterial line placement.
The dress code consists of black scrubs.
