Description:
The unit has 16 beds with patient ratios of 2:1, and sometimes 3:1.
Unit staffing includes MT, and a technician may be staffed based on census.
We utilize equipment such as Impella, GE monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Documentation is completed through Meditech.
Staff are expected to work 36 hours weekly.
Floating may occur in rotation with core staffing.
The unit requires certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH.
Candidates must have advanced skills in central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions.
Our dress code consists of scrubs in any color, no denim, capris, or camo.
